Meet Teacher Rachael

Teacher Rachael serves as the teacher of Capitol Forest Cooperative Preschool’s Evergreen class. 

Teacher Rachael has lived in Olympia for the past 6 years as well as all over the pacific northwest. She has taught preschool through third grade. 

Teacher Rachael’s  Philosophy

Teacher Rachael appreciates emergent curriculum and teaching in the style of Reggio Emilia. Her heart’s call is to bring about passion
for learning. Curious observation of the people she is teaching helps her to know what direction to take the class in. She is passionate about creating community within the Evergreen classroom.

Fun Facts About Teacher Rachael

Teacher Rachael enjoys hiking, taking walks, gardening, swimming in the ocean, dancing and family time.

Her favorite things include gluten-free cookies, chai lattes and seeing a class learn as a community.
